About Us
MIKIKIPHOTO Ltd. specializes in Dance Photography and Photo Imaging. This Canadian company was founded by the husband and wife team of Mi Ki and Susan Kan in 1997. Both are qualified photographers and retired school teachers of Geography and Visual Art.
As an innovative artist and a respected photographer, Mi Ki has captured not only the beauty of the dancers, but also the emotional intensity and competitive atmosphere of dancesport. Mi Ki had been invited to over 10 photography exhibitions of his works, which include mostly 20"X30" enlargements. Many are currently on display in selected dance studios internationally.
Both Mi Ki and Susan accept the challenges of new technology and are arduously dedicated to digital imaging and web design. MIKIPHOTO's first digital publication was a 13-page full colour 1999 calendar that honours the Canadian dance professionals and amateurs. The Year 2000 creation is a one-page 38" dancesport poster which pays special tribute to 44 dance professionals of the world.
To complement Mi Ki, Susan manages the company and has designed the MIKIPHOTO web site to exhibit his artistic expressions.
